Community Programs

For more than 30 years, ARI has served the needs of the community. ARI has a budget of over $2.5M in funding to offer the various programs and resources at no cost to the community.  ARI also offers a variety of programs that will continue to cater to the needs of the community.

All ARI Programs are FREE!

CalFresh (Formally known as Food Stamp Program)
Monthly benefits for food for low-income household(s)


Citizenship Classes
Civic question assistance and mock interviews


Computer Classes
Improve computer skills


Covered CA
Healthcare enrollment assistance, including Medi-Cal


Discounts - Utilities (SMUD & PG&E)
Application assistance for discounts on monthly energy costs, CARE & EAPR


Discounts - Internet (AT&T, Comcast)
Application assistance for a discount on monthly internet bills


ESL Classes (English as a second language)
English-as-a-Second Language classes are available to adults ages 22 years of age and older.  Our classes focus on multi-levels including Pre-Literacy to Advanced.


Financial Coaching
Improve financial education and stability


Individual Training Account (ITA)/ Support Services

Financial assistance for approved training programs


SNAP to Skills

Work-based education and training with embedded supportive services and soft skills training


VITA/Cal EITC (Volunteer Income Tax Assistant)

Federal/State Tax preparation for individuals or families making 54k under
