Refugee Services

ARI Community Services has a comprehensive program committed to serving refugees that is sensitive to their cultural and language needs so that they can be successful in settling in the United States. We have staff that can effectively serve and understands many cultures ARI's mission is to empower refugees with opportunities that change their lives so they may become productive citizens in this country.

At ARI, we teach refugee clients basic English skills in our English As A Second Language classes coupled with life and job search skills.  Our employment service specialists are the bridge for the refugees in their transition to becoming new citizens as we assist clients with job search skills, basic computer operation, and ultimately, placement into work experiences for gainful employment.

This program serves people who have been in the United States for less than five years and are classified as Refugee or Asylee status.
